A celebration marking NATO‘s 70th anniversary was attended at Kastellet by HRH Prince Joachim, former Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Defence Minister Claus Hjørt Frederiksen, NATO ambassadors, the military and other VIPs. A NATO country wreath underlining Allied solidarity was organized by the Embassy of Lithuania and laid at the monument for Danish soldiers fallen in international missions. Lithuania joined NATO fifteen years ago on 29 March 2004. Thank you Danish Atlantic Council and Danish Veterans Association for this celebratory event!

Briefing on Cyber security Added2019.03.28

The Romanian EU Presidency hosted a briefing for EU Heads of Mission in Copenhagen on Cyber security by Thomas Lund Sorensen, Director of the Danish Center for Cyber Security. Cybersikkerhed shared insight on Danish strategies for countering cyberthreats. Cyber security is also a top priority for Lithuania, which has taken the lead in forming a European Cyber Rapid Response Force.
