A youth delegation from Lithuania is participating in a Erasmus+ project in Copenhagen
A youth delegation from Lithuania (LAG Sūduva) was in Copenhagen this week participating in a 3-year Erasmus+ project with partners from Spain, Ireland and Denmark, that promotes community building, social inclusion of the elderly and sustainable mobility. Project partners participated in trishaw-riding training courses with "Cycling Without Age", a Danish initiative that engages seniors or less abled citizens by offering them free bike rides in specialized bicycles. This volunteer community service provides them the opportunity to remain an active part of society and to experience life beyond the confines of their residence or care centre.
