AMBASSADOR Gintė Damušis is in Jutland peninsula for a series of meetings promoting Lithuanian-Danish cultural and tourism ties.

AMBASSADOR GINTE DAMUSIS WAS HONORED to be received by Mayor Ulla Vestergaard of #Thisted, Brigadier Lennart Kvist Sørensen and Major Claes Mørch of the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA)

During her visit to a Lithuanian monument in Northern Jutland, which was erected in 1947 by #Lithuanian refugees. To this day the monument is maintained by Thisted municipality and #DEMA, where the monument is based and which served as a refugee camp for Lithuanian and other #refugees after the war.
