AN ONLINE MOVIE SCREENING ON THE OCCASION OF THE RESTORATION OF THE INDEPENDENCE OF LITHUANIA

Please join us for an online screening of the award-winning film “Nova Lituania”, directed by Karolis Kaupinis.

The movie plot takes the viewer back to interwar Kaunas, Lithuania’s second city and former provisional capital. During this time, Kaunas experienced fundamental change in both its political and architectural landscape. Recognized for its interwar modernism architecture, Kaunas assumes the role of European Capital of Culture in 2022.
