Commemoration of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Day

Lithuanian Armed Forces Day was commemorated at the Embassy in the presence of Danish defense officials, security policy experts, former Danish ambassadors to Lithuania and representatives of NATO countries. The Ambassador briefed guests about Lithuania's regional defense cooperation with Denmark, Poland, Latvia and Estonia and implementation of NATO commitments. Lithuania's Defense Attaché Cdr. Giedrius Valintėlis reviewed current security challenges and Lithuania's military preparedness, also introduced films about post-war resistance fighters and Lithuania's modern armed forces.
