Discussions with Parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee Chairman

Denmark's plans to build two artificial energy islands in the Baltic and North seas were among the topics discussed with Parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee Chairman Martin Lidegaard, who met with a group of ambassadors to discuss domestic affairs and foreign policy issues. As Denmark plans to triple its offshore wind capacity, Lithuania’s offshore wind dream is taking shape, said Ambassador Ginte Damusis. Lithuania plans to construct a wind farm in the Baltic Sea with a capacity of up to 700 MW, which will produce up to 25 percent of the country’s current electricity demand.
