EXHIBITION ON BELARUS IN COPENHAGEN, UNTIL AUGUST 30

ON AUGUST 9, 2021 Embassy‘s Chargé d‘Affairs a.i. Dovilė Survilaitė attended the opening of the exhibition “COURAGE AND RESISTANCE IN BELARUS” in Copenhagen. The photo and graphics exhibition marks one year of protests against the rigged presidential election and peaceful fight for fundamental rights and free, democratic and independent Belarus. The photographs presented at the exhibition were made by the photographers at TUT.BY – the popular Belarusian media outlet that was brutally shut down by the authorities in May 2021.

In August 23, 2020, in the commemoration day of the Baltic Way, LYS - Lithuanian Youth Society in Denmark and LPC - Lithuanian Professionals in Copenhagen organised a public action “Belarus Freedom Way” to support Belarusians in their fight against dictatorship. The Belarusian fight from freedom is not over. We invite you to visit the exhibition “Courage and Resistance in Belarus” at Kongens Nytorv, which can be seen until August 30.

Organisers of the exhibition: Talaka – Friends of Belarus in Denmark, New Democracy Fond, Politiken-Fonden and journalist Yulia Hartman-Haigh.
