Iceland presented its Arctic Council Chairmanship

Iceland presented its Arctic Council Chairmanship(2019-2021) priorities to ambassadors accredited to Denmark, including Lithuania's, and Danish officials covering Arctic affairs. Iceland’s priority areas include the Arctic marine environment, climate and green energy solutions, indigenous people in the Arctic and social welfare issues. Iceland assumes the Chairmanship from Finland in May.
