THURSDAY, JUNE 2, at 18:00 – 19:00 - AVRAHAM SUTZKEVER – REDISCOVERED POEMS FROM THE VILNA GHETTO
Former Lithuanian Minister of Culture, dr. Mindaugas Kvietkauskas, will deliver a lecture on Avraham Sutzkever’s poetry and present the poet’s new book ”Ten Poems/ Tsen Lider/ Dešimt eilėraščių” published almost 80 years after they were written in the Vilna ghetto.

A concert in Trinity Church with the internationally acclaimed Lithuanian cellist Gleb Pysniak, violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė and Tadas Motiečius on the accordion. The concert is inspired by the history of Lithuanian Jews and is a varied program by the Lithuanian composers J. Achron, C. Cui, A. Kinkulkin, A. Šenderovas, but also George Gershwin and Benny Goodman.
