Lithuania will participate in an ERASMUS+ civic project

Lithuania, in partnership with Denmark, Ireland and Spain, will participate in an ERASMUS+ civic project modeled on Denmark’s “Cycling without Age”, which promotes intergenerational relationships between young volunteers and the elderly through local community initiatives, such as offering free bike rides on trishaws to local nursing home residents and other seniors with limited mobility. This simple idea allows elderly citizens to remain an active part of society. As project implementer, the Suduva community in Lithuania has also partnered with Cycling Without Age and the Embassy of Lithuania to Denmark in making this initiative a reality.
