Lithuanian - Danish art exhibit

"Akademiet Sundby Væksthus“, a Copenhagen municipality day center for Danes with disabilities, hosted a Lithuanian delegation from „Viltis“, the national association for people with intellectual disability, on April 8-12. The Lithuanian group participated in an exchange project, which culminated in a joint Lithuanian - Danish art exhibit opened by Lithuania's Ambassador Ginte Damusis. Cooperation between Lithuania and Denmark, ongoing since 1993, has focused on sharing best practices for integrating people with intellectual disabilities into society and creating equalopportunity in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
