Meeting with the Honorary Consul of Lithuania and the Lithuanian community in Aalborg
On September 27, in Aalborg, the Honorary Consul General of Lithuania Eva Caspersen invited the Embassy to see the performance "Andersen's Dream (Tin Soldier)", played by the Panevėžys Puppet Carriage Theater. This is one of the many performances at the Puppet Carriage Theater based on the works of H. K. Andersen. For promoting the work of a famous writer, the theater has received the H. K. Andersen Prize in Odense, the writer's birthplace.
The event and the meeting that took place after the performance are dedicated to commemorate 100 years of diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Denmark and to involve the younger generation in the commemoration of this date.
Honorary Consul General Eva Caspersen, with her active cultural activities, seeks to unite the Lithuanians of North Jutland, the Danes who cherish Lithuanian traditions and spread the message about Lithuanian culture in Denmark.
