Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq

After joint training in Denmark, six Lithuanian soldiers were deployed with Danish troops to Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq.
At the send-off ceremony held at the garrison of the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse, Chairman of the Danish Parliamentary Defense Committee Rasmus Jarlov and the Regiment’s commander lauded the professionalism of Lithuanian troops. This is Lithuania's third military mission to Iraq.
