Presentation of the copies of Credentials to Iceland

On 24 March 2022 the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Iceland H.E. Ms. Asta Radikaitė presented the copies of the Credentials to the Ambassador of the Republic of Iceland in Copenhagen, H.E. Ms. Helga Hauksdóttir.
On 11 February 1991 Iceland recognized Lithuania de jure. It was the first Western state to do so. Iceland recognized Lithuania as a continuation of the interwar state, reaffirming their recognition of the Lithuanian state in 1922.
