Remembering 13th of January 1991

The memory of 14 innocent people killed during the Soviet military crackdown on January 13, 1991 at the TV tower in Vilnius was honored at the Embassy of Lithuania with 14 memorial candles and a screening of Robert Mullan’s film “We Will Sing” about those events.
Following the film, audience members spontaneously shared their thoughts about that tragic night, its impact on them and Lithuania, and why we must never forget or take freedom for granted.
