Seimas Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the Nordic Countries (Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden) in Copenhagen
On 6 May 2022 Giedrius Surplys, Ieva Pakarklytė and Kristijonas Bartoševičius, members of the Seimas Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the Nordic Countries (Kingdom of Denmark, Republic of Iceland, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland, Kingdom of Sweden) visited Copenhagen.
Parliamentarians met with the Foreign Affairs Committee, chaired by Bertel Haarder, in the Danish Parliament (Folketinget).
Most relevant issues were discussed at the Ministry of Immigration and Integration at the International Cooperation and Migration Unit, with Henrik Ankerstjerne, Permanent Deputy Secretary, and the team of the Interministerial Working Group on Migration.
The issues on climate change were discussed in the State of Green, which unites green Danish solutions and companies.
After meetings with their Danish counterparts, parliamentarians, officials and experts, members of the Lithuanian Seimas met with Lithuanians and Lithuanian friends living in Copenhagen to exchange the news and views.
