THE EXHIBITIONS OF Ž. KEMPINAS AND T. MARTIŠAUSKIS ARE OPENED IN REYKJAVIK, ICELAND

Photo©Petur Thomsen The exhibitions of two Lithuanian artists Mr. Žilvinas Kempinas and Mr. Tomas Martišauskis were opened in the Reykjavik Art Museaum on 14 September 2013. The joint exhibition is a part of the Cultural Program of the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council. Mr. Vytautas Pinkus, Ambassador of Lithuania to Denmark and Iceland and Mr. Einar Örn Benediktsonn, Head of Culture and Tourism Department of Reykjavik, started the opening by welcoming the guests. Large number of the members of the Lithuanian community in Iceland and Icelandic contemporary art fans attended the opening.

The exhibition is organized by Lithuanian art gallery "Galerija Vartai" and Reykjavik Art Museum. It is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
