WindEurope 2019 conference in Copenhagen

Lithuania, as the Baltic region’s leader in meeting the European Union's 2020 and 2030 energy directives, was honored to have its Minister of Energy invited as one of the keynote speakers at the opening of the WindEurope 2019 conference. 9000 industry professionals – policy makers, investors and business representatives – have gathered in Copenhagen for discussions and exhibitions on trends and insights in the wind energy sector. Minister Zygimantas Vaiciunas spoke about the important role of wind energy in Lithuania’s ambitious Energy Strategy and the country’s clear plan for the development of renewable energy.
