World's Best Morning 2018 campaign

WHEN WOMEN get wings, the world will fly" was the main message of the World's Best Morning 2018 campaign, which drew attention to the global benefits of equal opportunities for women in education, the workplace and political life.

Ambassador Ginte Damusis of Lithuania joined Danish Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs, colleagues from Australia, Burkina Faso, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Romania and Slovenia in distributing a "good news" paper to passersby in Copenhagen about posi...tive gender equality developments. The campaign is organized annually by the Danish United Nations Association.
