Zonta International conference in Copenhagen

The 13th district of Zonta International, a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy, recognized the achievements of two women – Danish parliamentarian and former Minister of Development Cooperation Ulla Tørnæs and founder of the Lithuanian association “Padedu Augti” Inga Laukytė-Budrienė, at its Centennial conference in Copenhagen. The association is a preemie (premature baby) parent support organization that offers services to families, including education and emotional support.

The conference was attended by Ambassador Gintė Damušis of Lithuania, 14 delegates from Lithuanian clubs in Alytus, Marijampolė and Vilnius, and over 200 other participants from the region.
